BioAnimator software is 3D Science in Motion’s initial product. This offering is an efficient presentation development tool intended for molecular and cellular biology students, professors and researchers for illustrating domain specific biological processes. The BioAnimator software provides a user with the capability to develop customized 3D content with animation that can be embedded into scientific presentations and lectures.
BioAnimator software is truly an interactive application that allows the user to create realistic and dynamic presentations of scientific concepts and processes.
The fundamental architecture consists of models, scenes and animations. The basic building blocks are 3D shapes called models. Scenes are made up of a combination of models. Animations add motion as a function of time to selected scenes and models. BioAnimator includes an extensive library of over 400 editable models, scenes and animations. Users can deploy models, scenes and animations from the library with or without customization and/or develop their own using the capabilities of BioAnimator. Scenes can be exported as images and animations can be exported as videos. The resulting images and videos can be used in Microsoft PowerPoint and other presentation software packages.
The 3D Science in Motion mission is to advance the development of scientific knowledge by providing software tools and solutions that aid in the understanding of scientific information and developments. The company’s initial focus is in the area of molecular and cellular biology. 3D Science in Motion believes that it can provide valuable help to scientists, professors and students in educating their respective communities relative to understanding the ever-expanding content of complex scientific information.
